As soon as Ziad Minkara came up with the ‘crazy idea’ of organizing the first golf event associated with business travel in June, I immediately took the subject seriously,” points out Rebecca Xerri, Director of Digital Transformation at
CDS Groupe.
Indeed, no sooner said than done, or almost!
On Wednesday August 30, 2023, 120 participants gathered in Poissy, in the Yvelines region,
at the Béthemont golf course
to take part in the Golfday du voyage d’affaires.
17 mixed teams of three golfers were able to enjoy the course in mild temperatures, and it was always in good spirits that the participants took to the tees of the 18 holes.
A special feature of the course is that, apart from the last hole, you never see the flag from the start of the fourth and fifth pars. In addition, 24 beginners were able to take advantage of an introductory course.
A first that lived up to all its promises, so much so that by the end of the day many participants were already anxious to know the date of the next event.
This first “Golfday du voyage d’affaires” was supported by various sponsors: American Express, Appart’City, Goelett, Hotels & Préférences, Staycity, Travel Concept Sport. The event was also supported by Culture Sport Fairways magazine.
Golfday du voyage d’affaires” was also a time of generosity. During a special event on the “hole-in-one”, golfers were able to buy an extra ball, with the amount doubled by CDS Groupe in aid of the association
60 000 rebonds.
